GIS Technician

Roles Responsibilities Investigation of datasets to recommend changes to improve data quality.' Data manipulation in Geographic Information Systems and other corporate systems. Updating datasets, following Business processes and procedures. Updates to non-geographic asset management systems Experience with database programming languages ideally Python Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite Experience in working with large datasets and in analyzing data quality Experience in working with python & GIS Accuracy and attention to detail Problem solving Ability to quickly learn new software applications Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes Flexible and adaptable to change Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues Able to work towards deadlines Ability to work within a team
