We are seeking an experienced R Consultant to support our client's data analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in R programming , data manipulation, and statistical methodologies to help drive data-driven decision-making. This role involves working with large datasets, developing predictive models, and providing insights through data visualization and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain R scripts for data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to clean, process, and manipulate large datasets. Implement machine learning models and statistical techniques for predictive analytics. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and provide actionable insights. Integrate R with other platforms and databases , such as SQL, Python, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Document and maintain codebase, workflows, and best practices for reproducibility and scalability. Provide mentorship and training on R programming and best practices to internal teams. Required Qualifications: 4 years of experience in R programming for data science, analytics, or statistical modeling. Proficiency in R libraries such as dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, Shiny, caret, and data.table . Experience working with structured and unstructured data . Strong understanding of statistical concepts, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time-series analysis . Hands-on experience with data wrangling, transformation, and cleansing . Knowledge of SQL and database management . Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with version control tools like Git . Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating R with Python and other programming languages. Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker . Familiarity with parallel computing and performance optimization in R. Experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, or government analytics . Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field .
