Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Cloud Data Architect to support a one-month initiative focused on data consolidation and archiving . The consultant will be responsible for identifying and extracting data from multiple systems, and securely transferring and storing this data in a cloud-based container (Azure based). Duration: 1 month approx Location: remote Responsibilities: Assess data sources and recommend cloud storage solution(s) Set up secure cloud container(s) for data storage Script or configure data transfer jobs (e.g., using Python, PowerShell, CLI tools, or native migration services) Implement basic data organization, tagging, and retention structure Ensure compliance with security and access controls Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal team Ideal Skills/Experience Proven experience with cloud storage platforms (Azure) Scripting and automation for data movement Familiarity with data governance and security best practices Optional: Experience with data lifecycle management
