Location : We offer a hybrid working model that provides flexibility to our colleagues in terms of how they work, as long as it meets the needs of both the individual and the organisation. You may be required to visit one of these locations when it is deemed necessary, however this is role dependant. About this role : As a People Manager in IT Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing technical professionals. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborate work environment, promoting professional growth and help support the successful delivery of IT initiatives with various stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with an understanding of IT processes and technologies. Main duties : Your main duties will include: Management responsibilities of Executive Officers and Higher Executive Officers, including Analysts and Engineers. Provide guidance, support, coaching, training, and development opportunities to foster professional growth. Establish clear performance expectations, goals, and objectives for team members, and conduct regular 1:1 evaluations and feedback sessions. Support colleagues to perform at their best, managing under performance, conduct and capability issues in a timely manner. Role model a balanced approach to wellbeing and support others to do the same. Work closely with the Service Desk Operational Lead, Technical Project Managers and Agile Delivery Leads to ensure optimal utilisation of team members skills and capabilities. Work in the Cross Digital function to support IT contract and budget management. Identifying staffing needs and participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within IT Enablement teams.
