Desktop Engineer

Referment is working with a global hedge fund who have an exciting opportunity available in their London Desktop Engineering team. This team supports around 450 users including c-level stakeholders, portfolio managers and quants within the firm. The Desktop Support Engineer will have at least 2 years' experience supporting Windows Desktop/Server environments and want to work with the latest tools and concepts to continuously improve the company's Desktop environment. Key Requirements: 2-7 years of experience working in a Desktop Support role, ideally in a pressured environment supporting Traders, Brokers or Portfolio Managers Solid technical understanding of Windows, Citrix, Exchange, Office 365 and Active Directory infrastructures A keen interest in new technologies and how they can work within a desktop environment such as Powershell / Python scripting Excellent communication and confident when dealing with challenging situations You must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship Not quite right for you?
