Senior Citrix Engineer

Senior Citrix Engineer Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Location: Farringdon & Twickenham, Hybrid Working (2 days a week in the office at both London offices) The Role A fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Citrix Engineer to join a UK leading provider of affordable housing across the social housing sector. You will be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services. Collaborating with the Architecture, Service Delivery, and Service Desk Teams, as well as the wider Technology Department, you will support and administer the full lifecycle of Citrix infrastructure operations, services, projects, and initiatives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Administer the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services. Collaborate with various teams to support and improve Citrix infrastructure operations. Manage the Citrix Work Plan and continuous service improvement initiatives. Ensure effective service delivery by assessing client needs. Liaise with third parties and vendors for service management. Contribute to project delivery and operational change through change requests. Maintain Citrix monitoring and reporting systems. Uphold security and governance within the Citrix environment. Manage complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Profile Management, Provisioning Services, NetScaler, VMware ESX, and networking. Expertise in applications packaging, databases, storage, networking, and security. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Proven track record of managing complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations. Experience with Citrix service upgrades and migrations. Familiarity with Control Up is desirable. Strong project management and delivery skills. Recent Citrix certifications to Professional level are desirable. Excellent demand management, planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
