Power Platform Developer Day Rate: £400-600/day Contract: 6 months rolling Start: August/Sptember Location: Hybrid / London Office - NO REMOTE Working for one of the leading Digital Transformation Consultancies who are building out their Power Platform capability within a large client from the global energy sector. As a PowerPlatform Developer, you will work closely with the lead developers to build innovative solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. 1x Power Platform Developer 3 to 5 years minimum dedicated experience developing Canvas Apps Experienced with the development of Component Libraries, consistent styling and theming, cross App re-use via parameterised components Experienced in packaging and deploying Power Apps and associated custom connectors and connection references Good knowledge of Power Automate flows, triggered and scheduled Experienced with data integration via multiple data sources such as SQLServer and Dataverse (any knowledge of Databricks or Azure Data Lake queries would be a bonus) Detail focused and capable of self-testing developed features Excellent communication skills, confident in raising concerns and providing solutions Comfortable acting as first line of support where required on existing apps and engaging with business stakeholders to provide resolutions to issues encountered Motivated to keep up with Power Platform advances through self driven research and comfortable making improvement suggestions 1x Power Platform Senior Lead Developer 5 years dedicated experience developing Canvas Apps and Model Apps Experienced with the development of Component Libraries, consistent styling and theming, cross App re-use via parameterised components Expert in packaging and deploying Power Apps and associated custom connectors and connection references Expert knowledge of Power Automate flows, triggered and scheduled including complex conditional flows Experienced with data integration via multiple data sources such as SQLServer and Dataverse (any knowledge of Databricks or Azure Data Lake queries would be a bonus) Detail focused and capable of self-testing developed features, detecting and ensuring deployments are error and issue free Excellent team leading skills, able to support and mentor junior developers, organising and prioritising development approaches to meet agreed delivery schedules Comfortable working with designers to guide and advise on Power Platform capabilities engaging with business stakeholders to provide resolutions to issues encountered Motivated to keep up with Power Platform advances through self driven research and comfortable making improvement suggestions Essential Programming Skills for Deep PP Dev JavaScript: For advanced customizations in Power Apps and client-side scripting. Power Fx: The formula language used in Power Apps. M (Power Query) and DAX: For data transformation and analysis in Power BI. SQL: For working with Dataverse and external data sources. Basic HTML/CSS: For UI customization in Power Apps and Power BI. Understanding of REST APIs Nice to Have C#: For custom connectors and Azure Functions integration. TypeScript: For Power Apps component framework development. React: For creating custom components in Power Apps. PowerShell: For automation and management tasks. Azure services (particularly Azure Functions and Logic Apps) DevOps practices and tools
