You will help continue to raise the standards of Cloud adoption internally, influencing how the company set themselves apart from their competitors. You will be leading a team of x4 cloud architects who will be setting up the FinOps function, through to working in Architecture to develop strategies and developing the organisations Engineering capability around automation and AI. The Role: Your Cloud Playground What you'll be doing: 40% hands on, 40% on projects and lastly 20% leading a team of x4 Cloud Architects. Architect Cloud solutions like a boss: efficient, cost-effective, and unbreakable. Youll drive strategy like no other, bringing the latest tech and Cloud services into play. Design cutting-edge architectures and partner with fellow Cloud gurus across security, development, and engineering. Of course, this will also mean that youll build patterns and frameworks that developers dream about. Be the go-to for tech leaders ensuring all systems are resilient and future-proof. Take complex ideas and translate them into simple, strategic plans that senior execs cant resist. Set the bar for Cloud development with top-notch metrics and scorecards. Stay ahead of the competition, always adjusting for the best possible outcomes. Find, develop, and deliver the right solutions for the business by working closely with engineering and delivery teams. What am I looking for? Expertise in developing Azure Cloud strategy and architecture. Track record of creating and implementing world-class Enterprise Cloud strategies to support the companys wider IT agenda and the business strategy Proven ability to lead complex, infrastructure cloud migrations (on-prem-to-cloud cloud-to-cloud). Detailed understanding of cloud design patterns, cloud ops and cost models Someone who is a stickler for Cloud best practice and embedded this within teams. A technical leader.
