Engineering Manager (Fintech) - Up to £165k

We are working on behalf of a fast-growing Series A Fintech startup specializing in money management and budgeting solutions. Their mission is to empower individuals with better financial tools, and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join the team. Role Overview: As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a small team of talented Backend Go Engineers, driving the development of their core financial products. You will be responsible for mentoring your team, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring the scalability and performance of their systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Backend Go Engineers. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Ensure engineering best practices are followed and drive continuous improvement. Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of features. Qualifications: 10 years of total experience in software engineering. 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing engineering teams. Strong background in backend development, with hands-on experience in Go (preferred). Experience in the Fintech domain is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
