Business Systems Analyst

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Desired Start Date: Asap Contract Length: 6 months to start, long term extension to follow Possibility of Extension: Likely Location: Hybrid Vancouver (4 days/week) Hours: 40/wk Status: Inc or T4 Business Systems Analyst – Technical and Process Focus Our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst focused on technical and process-driven projects. Initially, you will work on a REST API-based system integration project, collaborating with a squad handling diverse data and system integrations. Responsibilities: Gather and translate business needs into technical and functional requirements. Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for API integrations. Analyze data workflows, dependencies, and integration patterns. Document business requirements, technical specifications, and process flows. Support QA and UAT processes, ensuring data integrity and integration success. Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate on implementation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3 years as a Business Analyst with technical and process-focused experience. Strong understanding of REST APIs, data workflows, and integration tools. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and diagramming tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and Agile collaboration skills.
