Job Title : Sr Oracle DBA Job Type : Permanent full time Location : Downtown, Toronto Onsite Requirement : 1 day Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle 19c to join our client’s team. Key Requirements -Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle 19c databases on Linux/Windows environments. -Monitor database health, performance, and capacity planning, ensuring optimal database functionality. -Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and other tools. -Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations to ensure system stability and security. -Implement and maintain Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and GoldenGate configurations as needed. Qualifications: -7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including hands-on work with Oracle 19c. -Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning. -Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and RMAN. -Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and cloud-based Oracle databases -Experience in database security, auditing, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
