Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team during an exciting digital transformation phase. This role is essential in developing and maintaining data pipelines and SQL models. You will play a crucial part in integrating new data sources into our data warehouse, remapping data models, and ensuring data consistency as we implement a new source systems. You will also support AI and ML initiatives by deploying robust data pipelines. Responsibilities Data Management : Build, manage and maintain data extractions using ADF, Python, and Airflow. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and manage expectations. Best Practices : Improve and enforce best practices around data quality, documentation, monitoring, and testing. Platform Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to our data platform. Performance Optimization : Enhance and optimize the performance of our data warehouse and transformations in DBT. Person Commercial acumnen, ability to challenge decisions and make better decions to move the company forward. Technical skills Experience: 3 years in a data engineering role. Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure services. Expertise in ETL/ELT techniques and Data Warehouse integration. Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, query optimization). Advanced Python programming skills. Some familiarity with terraform.
