Location: Milton Keynes or Manchester Department: Risk Role Overview: Join the dynamic Risk department as a Quantitative Analytics Manager within the Retail IRB Modelling team. This high-profile role involves developing and maintaining Retail IRB models, ensuring alignment with business strategies, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of quantitative modellers to develop models that meet strategic IRB requirements, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to timelines. Engage with internal stakeholders to plan, build, validate, approve, implement, and utilise the developed models. Provide model assurance to maintain model effectiveness and accuracy. Serve as a subject matter expert for retail IRB models. Manage technical analysts, including line management responsibilities. Qualifications: Experience with Basel IRB modelling requirements and regulations, with a proven track record in Credit Risk modelling (IRB/IFRS9). Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in relevant mathematical approaches and advanced computer literacy (SAS, Python, or R). Degree in a highly numerate subject or equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge in quantitative and analytical solutions. Background in statistics, finance, or advanced analytics. Preferred Skills: Experience with retail portfolios. Experience managing a team and/or multiple concurrent projects. Additional Information: The role can be based in Milton Keynes or Manchester. They offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern, requiring at least 12 days per month in the office for Milton Keynes and 5 days per month for Manchester (pro-rata for part-time roles).
