We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join this dynamic team and contribute to their mission of optimising healthcare experiences. What You’ll Do Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to document and enhance data creation processes. Engineer comprehensive data pipelines that ensure quality and facilitate advanced analytics and machine learning applications. Lead data architecture decisions, articulating challenges and evaluating options in collaboration with peers. Implement best practices in data operations and site reliability for robust data management. Mentor and develop a data engineering team to effectively address evolving data needs. Drive initiatives to improve data accuracy, availability, granularity, and overall management capabilities. What You’ll Need Mastery of SQL with experience in cloud-based databases (e.g., BigQuery) and pipeline scheduling. 3 years of experience in modern BI technologies or open-source data frameworks. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala) for efficient data architecture and processing. Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to fulfil structured data needs. Familiarity with continuous delivery pipelines, automation scripts, and managing cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication and data modelling skills, particularly in dimensional modelling (e.g., Kimball). Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
