IT Systems Developer

The Role: IT Systems Developer This is a new and exciting role working as part of our IT team on site. Supporting our current systems, helping to deliver solutions to known business system challenges. Define and deliver system improvements and provide input into our future IT Strategy and IT development roadmap. We are looking for a highly driven individual who has experience of working within a manufacturing, fulfilment environment who understands the theoretical elements of Supply Chain and can apply development skills across a variety systems and be comfortable employing a variety of programming languages. Immediate Responsibilities and Hot Projects Quickly understand the current IT infrastructure and get comfortable with our WMS (Orderflow) and Financial systems (SAGE 200). Take ownership for our current development list. Carry out a basic system mapping exercise to highlight system interdependencies. Collaborate across the business with key stakeholders to validate the development list and prioritise actions. Build API integrations and overhaul unreliable integrations to ensure minimum downtime and commercial impact. Undertake ad hoc IT systems projects based on business requirements. Desirables Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field Advanced Universe and Microsoft SQL Server development experience Experience writing, queries, reports, and screens Demonstrated ability to achieve individual and team goals Working knowledge of Office 365 and Windows, Azure Desirable skills and programming languages VB.net, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, Git React, Micro services The Things You’ll Nail as Standard Manage development tasks/project with a collaborative approach .
