Esri ArcFM XI Consultant Intro Procom is seeking an experienced Esri ArcFM XI Consultant for a contract position. This role is a hybrid position based in Seattle, Washington, with remote work and on-site requirements twice a month. This role will start as a 12-month contract. Job Details This specific engagement will require utility experience, technology experience, and a specific understanding of the complexity of GIS in the utility space. Specific implementation and/or upgrade experience with Esri and extensions, e.g., Schneider Electric's ArcFM XI, is required. This resource will play a major role in the business to manage the foundational work required to standardize work and related end-to-end processes, standardize handling of GIS data, and ensure coordination across all areas in operations. This will require an in-depth understanding of utility GIS, work management lifecycle, financial implications and requirements, and a need to standardize and move to standard operating procedures for GIS City Light. While implementing the processes to support the GIS strategy, this position will be managing the technology implementations to enable these critical capabilities. This position will report to the BRM/PMO Manager and is accountable to the GIS Steering Committee. This engagement includes multiple projects. Mandatory Skills - 12 years of experience providing expert level technology program/project management on highly complex projects. - 8 years of experience managing projects in the Utility industry, specifically in GIS technology. - Experience in these areas: - Managing a team of professionals including GIS Analysts, IT Professionals, and Business Analysts. - Developing and deploying project best practices from planning through project closeout. - Managing projects using various Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC). - Utilizing formal change control and change management programs/models. - Writing RFPs and working with third party vendors in the acquisition or development of solutions. - Managing multiple consultants and vendors. - Excellent leadership and political awareness within a political/government/public environment. - Strong vendor management skills including contract negotiations, writing statements of work, and working with management. - Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executives, business teams, technical teams, and external agencies. - Skilled in influencing stakeholders and driving decisions to closure; adept at moving executive and senior management to action. - Technical background with GIS and Work and Asset Management applications. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Process-oriented with strong attention to detail. - Proficiency using Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Office products. - Demonstrated success working in a matrix reporting structure. - Demonstrated experience in Organizational Change Management, Organization Development, or Process Improvement. Desired Skills - BA/Master's in Management of Information Systems, Systems Development, or Project Management (or related field). - Formal certification, training, and/or experience in Organizational Change Management, Organization Development, or Process Improvement. - Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). - 10 years of experience providing expert level program/project management on highly complex projects. - 7 years of experience managing projects in the Utility industry, specifically in GIS.
