Information Technology Manager

IT Manager - Real Estate Investment Firm Permanent Role, £50,000, London A leading global real estate investment firm is seeking an IT Manager to oversee its European operations. The role involves managing computer systems, software, and networks, as well as ensuring effective IT support and system maintenance. The individual will also be responsible for information management and security, inventory and budget management, and maintaining emergency plans. Key Skills and Experience: IT Support: Managing IT operations, coordinating support, and ensuring efficient technology access. IT System Maintenance: Overseeing the operation of systems including Windows, VMware, MS Exchange, Office 365, Teams, Mimecast, and Cisco applications. Information Management & Security: Ensuring network and user security, managing identity systems, and conducting regular audits. Inventory & Budget Management: Tracking hardware and software, managing the IT budget, and liaising with vendors. Other: Collaborating with the US IT Team, assisting in IT policy development, and managing projects. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong interest in systems and processes, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a willingness to learn new technologies, and proven project management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with relevant IT management experience. This role is best suited for a mid-level manager currently residing in the UK with full UK work rights.
