Software Engineer - Customer Success

PostGrid is a fast-growing startup that enables businesses to automate their offline communication. We're building APIs that allow our users to send physical mail around the world without ever touching an envelope. We also offer APIs for real-time address autocomplete and verification, enabling massive savings for businesses on shipping and returned mail. We're looking for software engineers who will help us transform the way people work with direct mail. We serve over a billion API calls a month and are looking to scale up to handle trillions. What You’ll Be Doing: Build and enhance services using Node.js , TypeScript , MongoDB , and React . Iterate on REST APIs handling over 1 billion requests monthly. Bridge the gap between our customers and the engineering team, ensuring their needs are met. Develop internal tools to streamline operations like user management, onboarding, and reviews. Contribute to product design, optimizing user experiences and workflows. Debug customer issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes. Plan features and estimate complexity in collaboration with the product management team. Manage a portfolio of key clients, identify risks, and create retention plans. Advocate for customer needs internally to address product concerns and improve retention. What Makes You a Great Fit: Experience : At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack software engineer, building both front-end and back-end solutions. Technical Skills : Strong expertise in Node.js , TypeScript , MongoDB , and React . Familiarity with modern web development practices like adaptive design and lazy loading. Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest and Vitest . Agile Mindset : Comfortable working in Agile environments like Sprint or Kanban. Problem-Solving : You thrive on tackling challenges, finding solutions, and delivering results. Collaboration : A true team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
