Business Risk & Controls Specialist (Network)

A very special opportunity with one of our world leading banking clients has just hit the market for a Business Control Specialist with a strong background in risk management based in Chester. Role : Business Control Specialist Location : Chester (3 days on site per week required) Duration : 6-month contract Rate/Salary : Competitive As a Business Control Specialist, you will join a well-established team and take responsibility for all aspects of risk management including issue and audit management, escalation, and reporting. You will provide advice to all Networks teams to ensure adherence to Enterprise Standards and Policies, and to all applicable Laws, Rules and Regs. You will act as an escalation point and will provide appropriate challenge. Skills & Experience : Good understanding of compliance risks and compliance assessments and good knowledge of general network technology risks. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Some understanding of WAN / LAN Network Technologies. Experience in a large enterprise environment. Performance and results oriented, able to deliver high quality results within tight deadlines. An ability and desire to challenge the status quo, through analysis of systems, data, and processes. Good written and verbal presentation skills, able to communicate data analytics concepts and the results of work performed clearly and concisely.
