Job Title: Project Manager – Critical Incident Management (12 Month Contract) Location: Markham, Ontario Job Type: Contract (12 months) Pay Rate: Up to $59/hr CAD (1099) Job Description: Are you a skilled Project Manager with expertise in Critical Incident Management? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee incident response operations for a leading organization in Markham, Ontario. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage critical incidents, minimize disruptions, and drive business continuity. Key Responsibilities: Incident Response Coordination: Lead and manage the response to critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution to minimize business impact. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates and clear communication to key stakeholders. Incident Analysis & Prevention: Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive strategies to mitigate future incidents. Process Improvement: Continuously develop and enhance incident management frameworks to improve efficiency. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of incident analysts and coordinators, fostering a proactive incident response culture. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of incidents, responses, and resolutions for future reference and regulatory compliance. Training & Awareness: Conduct training programs and workshops to enhance incident management capabilities across the organization. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in incident management or a related field, including at least 2 years in a project management capacity. Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or CISSP certification preferred. Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving expertise. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in incident management tools and software. Key Objectives: Ensure rapid and efficient resolution of critical incidents. Minimize operational disruptions and enhance business continuity. Improve incident management strategies and processes. Foster a resilient and prepared organizational culture.
