Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid - £60,000 Key words: Python, TypeScript, React, C++, Azure, IoT, Piper Maddox is looking for an Senior Software Engineer for an innovative start-up focused on revolutionizing the logistics industry's approach to reducing CO2 emissions. They are developing a groundbreaking battery-solar system to power refrigeration units, with a mission to combat the staggering 50,000,000 tonnes of yearly CO2 emissions from refrigerated trailers. With over four years of dedicated effort, they are on the brink of bringing their game-changing product to market. The role: Optimizing cloud infrastructure and building cloud the cloud management and reporting system, which is hosted in Azure. Designing, building, and implementing APIs to facilitate seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure and refrigeration units (TRUs). Conception, development and implementation of Frontend software solutions - Typescript and react Provide ongoing development and optimisation support for existing software. What We Are Looking For: Minimum 4 years of commercial software development experience, with expertise in Python. Proficiency in Cloud-based solutions - Azure Experience with TypeScript/React is preferred. Understanding of time-series data and structured databases. Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies, such as Docker. Knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
