OVERALL PURPOSE As a Head of Product, International, you will lead a team to manage the scoping, delivery, and roadmap for our International platform. You will be pivotal in driving the product development and management process for both new products and platform enhancements, and play a critical role in ensuring consistent development velocity and predictable delivery of priority features. You will be part of a team of product professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product marketing, and business development, to deliver exceptional products that meet market needs and drive business growth. This role is focused on delivering robust products & solutions for our customers (e.g., corporates, fintechs, platforms serving international trade, etc.) and internal users (e.g., customer support, payment operations, compliance, integration professionals, et al). You will be tasked with delivering an outstanding experience for customers who want to embed innovative financial services and enable seamless cross-border currency capabilities within their own products, as well as helping our internal operational teams deliver a great customer experience efficiently and effectively. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS As part of the product organisation, you will report in matrix to and will be a fully embedded member of the Global Businesses team. You’ll partner closely with our Product Marketing, Business Development, and Operations teams to build a cohesive user journey that delivers the right experience to each user. PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a consistent product vision, strategy and roadmap for all products within the domain space, working on multiple Products/Canvasses in a matrixed environment. Establish and drive product management disciplines across the product lifecycle, e.g., conversion of business requirements into product requirements/testing scripts, manage development and product quality; ensuring product readiness across Technology, Delivery, Product and GTM perspectives. Build, motivate and lead direct and cross-functional teams, leveraging trust-based relationships to deliver an efficient operating model, ensure velocity balanced with quality: Build and lead a team (2) of product managers to execute the roadmap. Oversee end-to-end product and platform requirements incl. testing and operations; establish processes and procedures that enable team members to deliver at high quality and speed. Collaborate with product marketing to gain a deep understanding of needs - use customer research, feedback and data to build iteratively and test / experiment innovative concepts and features. Collaborate with product marketing team on documentation, internal release notes, and external communications: Establish measurable goals, targets and key performance indicators Monitor the competitive landscape- traditional and nontraditional/ emerging players Understand regulations and localisation needs impacting our business, establish foundational global implementations: EXPERIENCE 10 years of progressive experience in product management with at least 3 years in a group product management or similar leadership role. Demonstrated product management experience of commercial and internal user products and services across both desktop (web) and API interfaces. Extensive experience in API-driven Product Management, with strong domain expertise (5 years) in payments. Significant background in cross border, specific experience in multicurrency wallets strongly preferred. Experience (3 years preferred) working with offshore development teams, across time zones and languages. Expert ability to use Jira/Confluence (or similar requirements management and documentation tools. QUALIFICATIONS Educated with a relevant degree in business, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. DESIRED TRAITS Proven ability to lead in a matrixed organization. Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset. Strong relationship building skills and highly collaborative; excellent listening skills; and facilitating & guiding senior executives/colleagues. Intellectually curious, managing multiple priorities in time-sensitive and challenging/dynamic environments. Highly analytical, able to solve complex and at times ambiguous problems. Ability to step in at the zero to one phase, scale to 1-10 (and beyond). Excellent (written and verbal) and proactive communication skills/style. Strong command of office software (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.) and exceptional organisational skills. Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus .
