Job Specification: Power Platform Developer (Orbus) Location: London or Birmingham (with access for 1-2 days per week) Work Schedule: 3 days per week (part time) Rate: £500/£626 per day Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer with expertise in Power BI and OrbusInfinity to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data visualisation solutions, automating processes, and improving user interactions with the UTOM content hosted on the OrbusInfinity platform. Key Responsibilities: Development & Customisation: Utilise Power BI and Power Platform to design and develop dashboards, reports, and applications tailored to the OrbusInfinity platform, ensuring that these tools effectively display UTOM content and support informed decision-making. Integration Solutions: Develop seamless integrations between OrbusInfinity and external systems (e.g., AssetWise ALIM, DOORS) using Power Platform capabilities to automate data flows and improve system interoperability. User Experience Enhancement: Create interactive features and automation workflows that enhance user experience, simplifying and streamlining user interactions with the platform’s content. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Monitor the performance of developed solutions, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and addressing any technical issues that arise during deployment and operation. Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Designer/Business Analyst to understand user requirements, and with the Data Architect to ensure data accuracy and availability. Provide ongoing support and updates based on user feedback and evolving business needs. Required Expertise: Power Platform & Power BI Proficiency: Extensive experience in developing data visualisation solutions using Power BI, and application development and workflow automation using PowerApps and Power Automate. Integration Skills: Proven track record of integrating various data sources and systems into cohesive, automated workflows, particularly within large-scale enterprise environments. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Strong problem-solving skills, with an innovative approach to designing and deploying technical solutions. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions. Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and continuously enhance skills to meet the evolving demands of the project.
