The Product Manager is tasked with end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery of the right products and features to build and successful delivery of those products and features. This role will work with the product delivery team to come up with effective solutions that are valuable (our customers choose to buy or use), viable (the solution works within the many constraints of the business), usable (the user can figure out how to use) and feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement). Although is an individual contributor role, the Product Manager must be able to exert influence through the use of logic and data. Job Responsibilities Communications: Proactively engages with customer to uncover user needs. Communicate all new product information in a timely manner to the Sales , Marketing, Professional Services and Support teams. Participate in Product Marketing (collateral development, product branding etc.) Communicates status to stakeholders Product Skills: Identify improvements to R.O. Writer applications/process flow as appropriate to maximize the efficiency of R.O. Writer applications and functionality. Stay informed on business developments and industry trends. Prepare and communicate product roadmap on an ongoing basis to stakeholders. Lead R.O. Writer product initiatives identified in the R.O. Writer Strategic Plan. Defines product success criteria and circulates to involved parties throughout the product life cycle. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for R.O. Writer products. Manage multiple, concurrent product initiatives. Attend selected trade conferences to learn and stay ahead of industry directions. Timeliness: Monitoring projects and tasks to ensure they are completed on time. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic. Knowledge: Contributes a deep knowledge and understanding of our users, customers and how they use our products. Learns, records and remembers business and technical information related to areas of expertise Perform other related duties and tasks, as required. Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and customer service skills. Relentless curiosity Strong customer research, analytical, problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to engage in all stakeholders, internal and external, in a constructive and collaborative relationship. Experience with enterprise business applications and project implementations. Keen attention to detail Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing. Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall development methodologies. Drive for Improvement – shows incremental improvement over time Qualifications University degree, relevant college diploma or equivalent related work experience. 2 years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher. Ability to develop effective presentations and present them to senior management and clients. Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery. Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proven communication skills, analytical skills and ability to multitask. Preferred Skills Experience in automotive repair software or similar industry. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha, etc.) and CRM systems. Relevant college degree (Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience Salary Range (CAN Only): The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $100,000 to $120,000 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors. Other Compensation (CAN Only): This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
