Software Engineer – Embedded Systems Hybrid | Full-Time | Competitive Salary Bonus Penta Search Group has been engaged by one of our clients, a leading medical device manufacturer, to hire a Software Engineer, Embedded Systems to join a high-impact R&D team building life-changing medical technology. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on embedded Linux development, C/C++ programming, and firmware for hardware devices used in real-world clinical environments. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain embedded software for next-generation medical devices Own features through the full development cycle: design, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, QA, and manufacturing teams Support and improve existing firmware products and internal build systems Contribute to long-term software architecture and technical decisions What We’re Looking For 5 years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development Strong proficiency in C and C++ Solid hands-on experience with embedded Linux and command-line tools Comfortable debugging hardware-level issues and working close to the metal Bonus: experience with Qt, Java, or test automation frameworks Why Join?
