Software Engineer | Space | £50,000-£65,000 | Luton (Once a month) ️ Technology used: Java, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins A Leading Global provider of Space Solutions is currently expanding and is looking for a Software Engineer to help them make a significant impact in the field of Space Technology. They are involved in developing and deploying advanced Satellite systems, Earth Observation Platforms, and Space-based Applications. The business has a rich heritage within the Space Industry, and you will get the chance to work on exciting projects with a global reach. As one of their Software Engineers you will get the chance to work on exciting projects within the Space sector. You could be developing software for Monitoring systems, Earth Observation Management systems, Mission Systems, or ground control systems, among others This is a remote first role, however you will be expected to visit their site in Luton once per month. Skills: 2 years software development experience. Development experience with Java or Python, with exposure to the other. Experience with Linux or Windows development. Devops experience, e.g. CI/CD, Containerisation, Serverless computing (desirable) Experience with Geospatial technologies, GIS etc. Highly desired: Experience using GIS / Geospatial Data What's in it for you?
