CTO – High-growth FinTech Java, Springboot, Microservices, AI, ChatGPT I have partnered up with a high growth fintech firm who are providing solutions for the wealth management industry. Having won over majority of the asset managers in the UK, they are now looking to tap into the US market and collaborate with investors and managers across multiple countries to empower and improve engagement in the investment sector. Aspiring Engineering Managers, this is your opportunity to step into the CTO spotlight. For experienced CTOs, this can be a one-of-kind opportunity to take the company to new heights, break into the US market and make your mark This team is made up of 15 engineers broken down into Java backend engineers, QA, DevOps, Product owner, and Data engineers. We are looking for someone who can lead from the front, be in the trenches with the team when needed; guide them and develop the engineering function further. This is a key hire in the business and will be reporting directly to the CEO. We are looking for technically astute individuals, with a lot of charisma / enthusiasm who can also take a front seat with customers and be a technology advocate. What do we need? Strong people management and project management experience Strategic thinker and strong track-record of management Experience with AWS, APIs, Microservices and Java all key – note, it is not a hands-on coding role They are currently using AI and ChatGPT for their process therefore, any experience or interest in these areas would be grand Experience in security audits For the successful CTO, this role can pay up to £150k, plus stock options alongside many other perks.
