ERP (Syteline) Lead

Job Title: ERP (Syteline) Lead Type: Hybrid (onsite requirement 3-5 days per month) Location: Bath A great role with a global engineering business based in Bath. They are looking for a superstar to join their team in an integral role. Key Responsibilities – ERP (Syteline) Lead Support and collaborate with ERP users and departments across the business. Manage the successful migration and/or implementation of projects. Customise and configure Syteline modules to meet business requirements. Create test plans and execute them. Create documentation to back up any changes or implementations. Develop and conduct user training sessions Continuously look for areas for improvement. Coordinate deployment with stakeholders and gather feedback for future improvements. Implement any upgrades to the ERP system. Potentially, a migration to a new system. Track programming changes using version control software. Troubleshoot issues that arise in the day-to-day running of the ERP system and for users. Ensure integrity and security within the Syteline environment. Undertake other additional duties that may be required from time to time as determined by the company and/or your Line Manager. Qualifications & Requirements – ERP (Syteline) Lead At least 5 years of experience using, administering, and/or developing Syteline ERP. Experience of working within a manufacturing and engineering environment. Excellent problem solving skills Have a high level of understanding regarding databases, relational, analytical, etc. Business Analysis and Technical Skillset required Fundamental knowledge of accounting requirements. An understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and report building. APS Planning or similar Manufacturing Planning systems knowledge. Knowledge of (BIDS) for forms and reports, Installation and testing of fixes and upgrade Knowledge of Windows Server Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Queries Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Business Intelligence Development Studio The post holder will desirably have, or will be able to develop: Some knowledge of Visual Basic (VB.NET & VBA). The Person A willingness to develop and learn new skills within a technical environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work well individually and in teams. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Able to generate high quality output with an excellent attention to detail. Professional, methodical approach to work. Good verbal and written communication skills. Flexible attitude to work requirements to workplace activities as necessary. A desire to innovate, seek better ways to perform, and share lessons learned with their peers.
