Lead QA Engineer – FinTech / Investment – JavaScript / TypeScript, Playwright, Cucumber, Line Management Oliver Bernard are currently working with an industry leading FinTech / Investment company, based in London, who are ramping up their Platform at a speed of knots to scale in line with their continued growth worldwide. They are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join their QA team as part of ongoing expansion plans across Technology, in particular their Testing function as they look to drive out their Automation practices in line with an ever improving Test Strategy set in place by their team of established Lead QA and Head of QA. Currently undergoing a period of growth in demand for their product, you’ll work as part of a technical team geared towards improving the functionality of their specialist platform as they look to continue on this trajectory of growth across the globe, with their Platform functional across several continents. This position is an ideal opportunity for a Lead QA looking to build in their career, have autonomy in their work, and progress in a fast paced, established, and friendly environment. To be considered, you will need the following experience: 5-6 years' JavaScript / TypeScript Automation experience History of working with Automation frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, and Cucumber BDD API Testing with Postman and / or REST Exposure to Testing within AWS Cloud environments Prior experience managing a team of 4-5 QA members (overseeing 1-to-1s, mentoring and coaching Jnr Engineers, driving a test strategy etc) This position is able to offer £80-90K on the base salary, alongside benefits, and operates a flexible hybrid WFH pattern (with just 1 office day needed per week).
