As they invest in the next generation of their flagship solutions, theyre seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to drive the design and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications that scale globally. The Role As Lead Mobile Developer, youll take charge of the mobile app strategy, leading a cross-functional team to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. This is a pivotal role in shaping the road-map for the upcoming 2.0 version of their core product a complete rethink built with the latest tools and best practices. What You'll Be Doing Technical Leadership Lead and mentor a team of mobile engineers, fostering a high-performance culture. Set coding standards, define best practices, and ensure robust architecture decisions. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend teams, and product managers. Mobile Development Design, build, and maintain scalable, maintainable mobile apps using React Native Optimise performance, quality, and responsiveness across a variety of devices and platforms. Product Innovation Spearhead the development of a brand-new 2.0 version of flagship products. Introduce forward-thinking mobile capabilities that enhance usability and customer experience. Code Quality & Delivery Conduct in-depth code reviews and maintain a strong focus on clean, maintainable code. Champion modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments. Collaboration & Communication Partner with Product to define and deliver features in line with the overall roadmap. Cultivate an open, transparent team culture where feedback and innovation thrive. What We're Looking For A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar. Proven experience building and scaling mobile apps using React Native. A strong background in leading or mentoring engineering teams. Deep understanding of mobile best practices, UI/UX design principles, and architectural patterns. Experience working in Agile environments and with CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
