Role Overview: They are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer (API) with a strong background in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API design. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the company’s technology landscape, driving backend development, and enhancing system performance. Key Responsibilities: Technology Enhancement: Evaluate and improve backend applications to boost performance and scalability. API Development: Design and maintain scalable, secure APIs, developing new features for the next generation of platforms. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks to ensure high-quality, reliable software. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product teams, front-end developers, and DevOps, contributing to a cohesive tech strategy. Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. What You Will Bring: 5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on PHP and JavaScript (Node.js/TypeScript). Proven experience designing and managing scalable APIs. Strong understanding of MySQL, NoSQL databases, and automated testing practices. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Beneficial Experience: Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and secure coding practices.
