IT Infrastructure Architect

Vice President - IT Infrastructure Architect - London - Hybrid Working - Permanent Position Our client (an Investment Bank in London) is looking for an Infrastructure Architect (VP level) to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. The role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry to ensure our IT infrastructure aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: You will be designing and implementing the scalable, secure IT infrastructure aligned with business goals. You will lead complex infrastructure projects, including data centers, cloud solutions, and network architecture. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet operational and regulatory requirements. You'll contribute to the bank’s IT strategy and evaluate new technologies for competitive advantage. Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards and regulations Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the infrastructure team. Be comfortable working 3 days in the office, and 2 from home. Key Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience in IT infrastructure design, including cloud, networking, and storage. Deep understanding of financial services industry requirements and regulations. Proven ability to align IT infrastructure with business strategy. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; relevant certifications (e.g, AWS) preferred.
