Lead Data Engineer (Fully Remote) – Public Sector / Healthcare – Basic Salary: £75,000 10% Bonus 20% Pension Plan – Please read… Hays are working exclusively with a specific Greater Manchester NHS trust, assisting them in their recruitment of a Lead Data Engineer. Our client plans to break ties with their current external Data Partner at the end of this year and have received approval to bring on an internal resource to take full ownership of all aspects of their Data Environment & Platform (Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store). We're on the lookout for an experienced Data Engineer who’ll feel comfortable coming into an organization to take on the overall management and maintenance on their internal Data Platform, and all duties associated with that. This person will also be responsible for working with BI Team to help upskill them in in Azure, Data Factory, SQL etc, while also helping the team help identify new data sources for acquisition into the Platform.
