New Value Solutions is a national IT consulting company and we are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint 365 Specialist with hands-on experience in building and customizing solutions using Power Apps and integrating Microsoft Purview within the SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance and security, and a working knowledge of contracts management processes and workflows is considered a strong asset. This is a contract position on an as needed basis. Scope of work The primary purpose is to assist and support an existing resource with their Power Apps development. The scope of the project will involve: • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites and solutions tailored to business needs. • Build low-code/no-code apps using Power Apps within SharePoint to enhance user experience and automate processes. • Configure and manage Microsoft Purview (formerly Microsoft Information Protection & Compliance) in the context of SharePoint for data governance, sensitivity labelling, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance policies. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional SharePoint solutions. • Maintain and enforce governance and metadata strategies across SharePoint document libraries and lists. • Support the implementation of workflows and approval processes using Power Automate. • Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users as needed. Nice to Have / Assets: • Experience designing or managing contract life cycle management (CLM) solutions within SharePoint. • Familiarity with creating or optimizing workflow automation related to contract approvals and renewals. • Understanding of Microsoft Syntex for document understanding models is a plus. Qualifications: • 3 years of experience working with SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). • Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. • Experience configuring Microsoft Purview with a focus on SharePoint. • Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and M365 security best practices. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
