Role Name: IT Engineer Location: Hackney Campus Pay Range: £33,693 - £35,639 Hours and weeks: 35 Hours, 52 Weeks Contract Type: Full time Contract Term: Permanent Position Start Date: Immediate Start Application Close:8th September 2024 The Role: In this role you will provide support to all users of the College’s IT systems including Windows 10 desktops and laptops, Macs, VOIP telephony, managed printing services and AV. You will configure, install and support all College IT hardware systems and assist in the day-to-day maintenance. You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, and have a minimum of three year’s hands on experience of working in an up-to-date IT environment. You should have the ability to organise, prioritise and schedule work to meet deadlines, have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to apply these when dealing with technical and non-technical staff. Key Responsibilities: You will have ability to communicate effectively by telephone, e-mail and in person with students and staff at all levels within the College. We are looking for a team player with the ability to work flexibly. You will be required to provide administrative support to a busy team and must be able to demonstrate skills in prioritising and scheduling work to deal with multiple tasks whilst working under pressure.
