Back End Developer

Job Overview We are looking for a talented backend developer to join Nevvon. Someone who will join us in scaling our system. Responsibilities and Duties Work on backend architecture, tech roadmaps and design solutions Assume ownership of the existing backend systems Assume responsibility of the backend design, code, testing and deployment procedures Work with additional teams and stakeholders to define interfaces, protocols and standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science At least 4 years experience working as a developer in a professional capacity Excellent knowledge of PHP and Laravel Experienced with containers technologies such as Docker – a must, and with Linux environment – a plus Proficient in Python (3.x) - a plus Experienced with SQL databases , and MySQL in particular, including query optimizations, DB tuning Proficiency with mobile development, specifically Flutter – a big plus Experience building Microservices - a plus Knowledge of cloud services, specifically AWS – big plus Team player with good communication skills, and fun to work with This job is open for candidates in North and/or Latin America only Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote Benefits: Extended health care Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: PHP: 3 years (required) Docker: 1 year (required) Python: 2 years (preferred) Laravel: 2 years (required) Language: English (required) Sounds interesting?
