Job Description: The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support its CompetitiveB single award DHMSM IDIQ contract, known as MHS GENESIS. This highly visible program is designed to deploy, operate, and sustain a new electronic health record to the military health system, supporting nearly 10 million service members and their families worldwide. While every healthcare system is addressing quality, user experience and cost, the MHS GENESIS program has the added challenge of delivering these objectives within the DOD security environment, at the DOD's global scale, all while supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)'s vision of a medically ready force which is essential to our national defense. Primary Responsibilities: Sustain and maintain the MHS GENESIS Theater system and infrastructure baseline Provide expert system administration support to the MHS GENESIS Theater System and Infrastructure Automate existing processes and tasks associated with installing, maintaining and sustaining MHS GENESIS Theater Enhance capabilities related to system stability, state of health, and state of mission Recommend and implement system improvements related to system stability, state of health, and state of mission within the underlying operating system, VM, and hypervisor environments Recommend and implement system improvements related to installing MHS GENESIS Theater within the underlying operating system, VM, and hypervisor environments Recommend and implement system improvements related to maintaining and sustaining MHS GENESIS Theater within the underlying operating system, VM, and hypervisor environments Integrate new capabilities related to system installation, administration, maintenance, and sustainment within the MHS GENESIS Theater system and infrastructure Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis of defects within the system and infrastructure Provide expert advice on system configurations and resource allocation Document best practices and SOPs Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation associated with system installation, maintenance, and administration Basic Qualifications: BS and 6 years of prior relevant experience US Citizen with Active Public Trust, Tier 5 (ADP-IT-I), preference for active Secret or Top Secret Advanced systems installation and administration knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Tier II, Tier III). Active Directory administration, Group Policy Objects, etc. Experience with server hardening, with emphasis on the implementation of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Experience with shell scripting in Windows and Linux environments. Experience configuring and administering VMware environments Experience installing and administering Oracle and MS SQLServer DBMS Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking Experience administering and troubleshooting n-tiered application environments Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MHS GENESIS systems administration Experience administering Oracle Health Millennium EHR system In-depth knowledge of one or more aspects of internal Oracle Health Millennium functionality (e.g., Mpages, RevCycle, PowerChart, OpsJobs) Current access to the MHS GENESIS Federal Enclave Python development experience Experience with modern blade server platforms and other dense-compute server platforms Log aggregation and configuration syslog, log4j, Windows Event Service, Windows Logging Service Zabbix administration, configuration Demonstrated history of self-improvement and continual learning NetVision Resources, Inc.
