Automation Engineer

Job Description Title: Automation Engineer/ Controls Engineer Location: Vancouver, BC V5J 5L4 Duration: 07 Months (Extendable) Pay Rate: $85.00 – 96.00/hr on T4 Experience: 5 years or more Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, or related STEM Major Experience - Experience with hypervisors (VMWare and ESXi) and Windows system administration - Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network appliances (network switches, firewalls) - Experience working in an industrial manufacturing OT environment - Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills - Sound understanding of computer systems validation (CSV) in a regulated environment such as execution of FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ using good documentation practices (GDP) Preferred experience: - Familiarity with Rockwell PlantPAx DCS systems Tasks and Deliverables: - Perform commissioning and startup activities related to IT/OT systems ensuring connectivity and interoperability between SCADA, DCS, PLCs - Perform system testing, including preparation of documentation such as test reports and change controls - Serve as the primary onsite contact with the extended team for IT/OT related questions and concerns during commissioning and qualification phases - Coordinate with remote subject matter experts to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and generate potential solutions Regards, Kajal Singh IT & Engineering Recruiter (Pharma and Life Sciences) Net2Source Inc.
