⚡Kafka Engineer Forbes Listed Bank - One of the largest in the world Inside IR35 Contract ✔6 months with a possible extension Remote First (1 day per week in London OR Sheffield, whichever is closest / more convenient) Would you like to work for a Forbes Listed bank, one of the largest in the world? ✔ About the role & team My partner client (who we have placed 300 contractors with over the years) are looking for a Kafka Engineer who is skilled in building Kafka on Kubernetes - You will be responsible for building and deploying Kafka clusters on both on-prem and public cloud Kubernetes environments. Skills needed Hands on experience working on Kafka connect using schema registry in a very high volume. Administration and operations of the Kafka platform - Working on Kafka connectors such as MQ connectors, Elastic Search connectors, JDBC connectors, File stream connector, JMS source connectors, Tasks, Workers, converters, Transforms. Hands on experience on custom connectors using the Kafka core concepts and API. Using automation tools like provisioning using Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab. Setting up security on Kafka, Monitor, prevent and troubleshoot security-related issues.
