We are seeking someone with experience in control software development and IT programming. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, with a background in life sciences, food and beverage, or chemicals industries, and a passion for developing innovative control systems and applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and test control software in DCS or PLC/SCADA environments. Design and code complex control schemes using Function Block Diagram (ideally IEC 61131-3/61499 standards). Apply understanding of ISA S88 standard, specifically control and equipment module design. Design and implement industrial user interfaces (e.g., faceplates, charts, parameter entry screens). Utilise control system theory in practical applications. Develop complex applications in high-level programming environments (e.g., C, SQL, Python). Work closely with users to generate design specifications and transform them into maintainable code. Apply structured design methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, Yourdon). Key Requirements: Extensive experience in control software development (DCS, PLC/SCADA). Strong background in Function Block Diagram coding (IEC 61131-3, 61499). Familiarity with ISA S88 standard and industrial user interfaces. Practical knowledge of control system theory. Significant experience in high-level programming (C, SQL, Python). Ability to work independently and proactively. Enthusiastic about learning new domains. Experience with structured design methodologies (UML, Yourdon).
