Senior Systems Engineer - Leading Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund - London

My client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team in London. The successful candidate will lead the expansion in building out the fund's global on-premise datacenters by implementing compute, storage and network infrastructure to deliver a cloud platform. You should have knowledge in provisioning and configuring physical and virtual servers as well as have strong Linux and Windows systems administration skills using automation tools. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to have an impact from day one. Ideal Experience: Infrastructure as Code - ideally with the HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad, Terraform and/or Packer). Automation tools - Puppet, Ansible. Linux distributions system administration. Windows services administration (Active Directory etc). Production use of Containers, KVM, LXC, libvirt, Proxmox technologies/products in the virtualisation stack. Well-established high-availability techniques such as Keepalived and HAProxy.
