Based in London, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and extending the applications necessary for the hedge fund's trading operations. Key Responsibilities: Collaborating closely with traders to understand requirements and provide technical support for trading tools. Developing and maintaining back-end services critical for trading operations, including risk-related services and access to markets. Extending and optimizing trading applications, with a focus on real-time data processing and display. Contributing to the continuous refinement and adjustment of trading infrastructure to adapt to changing market conditions. Participating in a fully automated CI/CD pipeline and clustered, containerized setup leveraging Kubernetes. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading or financial services. Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and Azure-based processes. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
