My client, a prestigious Global Hedge Fund, are seeking an experienced Rust/C++/Java Developer to join their Low Latency/HFT Team in London. In this role you would be responsible for designing, developing and optimising of their low-latency trading systems. You would be working closely with quant analysts/researchers to comprehend their business requirements and develop innovative technical solutions. You will be joining a highly prolific team in the firm, working alongside some of the brightest programmers in the industry, and will have continuous exposure to and interaction with PMs, Traders and Senior Management. Requirements: Excellent programming and technology skills, including an in-depth understanding of or strong knowledge in Rust, C++ or Java. Ability to take ownership of technical products and projects focussing on increasing automation. A desire to take a hands-on approach, embracing the opportunity to be creative when solving problems and developing products. Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work independently and demonstrate project ownership A successful candidate must come from the buy-side and have an in-depth and excellent understanding of Rust, C++ and Java.
