These structures are in use at over 900 locations serving the education, accommodation, telecommunication, quick service restaurant and oil & gas sectors. We are currently expanding into the Residential, Hotel and Agricultural Grow industries. Role Description We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role reports directly to the Data Systems Manager and plays a critical part in planning and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting systems, applications, and services, with a focus on M365, network administration, and IT policy development. Location: This role is office & plant based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in Crossfield, Alberta, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Data Systems Manager to plan, implement, and optimize IT systems. Administer and manage the M365 environment, ensuring smooth operation and user support. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 deskside support to business users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Deliver training and awareness sessions for business users on in-house systems, technology, and best practices. Manage a portfolio of applications, systems, and services for the business, ensuring high availability and performance. Oversee vendor management, ensuring proper service delivery and compliance with contractual agreements. Manage application and service lifecycles, ensuring they meet business needs and objectives. Desired Technologies Experience: M365 (Microsoft 365) Microsoft Intune Microsoft SharePoint Android Operating System Ubiquity (Networking equipment and management) is an asset Fortigate (Firewall and security services) is an asset Key Skills & Background: Strong client service communication skills Proficient in Windows 11 Pro administration and troubleshooting. Experience with networking technologies in both an office and industrial environment Experience managing Android devices in a business environment. Strong background in network administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. Proven experience in systems planning, implementation, and ongoing support. Solid understanding of procurement processes for IT-related products and services. Expertise in vendor management, including contract negotiation and service level agreements (SLAs). Knowledge of IT policy development and governance is an asset. Qualifications: A relevant IT degree or certification (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar) is highly desirable. Proven experience in an IT support or systems administration role, preferably within a fast-paced or dynamic environment.
