As part of the Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure team, the iIT Infrastructure Engineer position is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining IT Infrastructure such as physical and virtual servers, storage arrays, hypervisors, backup and disaster recovery systems, Datacenter and IT rooms, monitoring, and network equipment for on-premises offices as well as cloud-based services. This position will ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of related infrastructure and systems. This position will respond to IT related helpdesk tickets regarding hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in an 24/7 environment that requires participation in an on-call rotation. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Design, deploy, and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. 2. Implement best practices for system configuration, security, and performance optimization to ensure high availability and reliability. 3. Ability to Implementation Solutions through vendor management. 4. Collaborate with IT and software development teams to support the integration and deployment of applications and services. 5. Conduct regular performance monitoring and troubleshooting, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to maintain system reliability and uptime. 6. Implement and manage backup & disaster recovery solutions, including regular backups, replication, and failover procedures, to safeguard critical data and applications. 7. Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment, provisioning, and management tasks. 8. Ensures all maintenance is scheduled, documented, and communicated with IT and business through established processes (CAB). 9. Ensure proper Asset Management of all Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). 10. Support 24x7 operations and IT Service Management, Ticket handling to resolution (Incident, Problem, Change), escalations, and vendor management. 11. Manage all aspects of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and DNS (Internal/External). 12. Ability to identify areas for improvement within the organization that spans departments outside of IT. 13. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and supportability. 14. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2. 5 years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving. 3. 5 years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment (VMware Horizon, Terminal Servers, Network, Servers, Storage, AWS/Azure). 4. High level of expertise in Office 365 technologies including but not limited to SharePoint, Exchange and Microsoft Teams, Defender. 5. 2 Years of hands-on data center experience including but not limited to Racking, Cabling, Port management. 6. 2 Years of ITIL / ITSM experience. 7. Experience working with and or building automation. 8. Good judgment and analytical skills; strong organizational and time management skills. 9. Experience with disaster recovery, backup technologies and recovery/restores. 10. Able to lead projects and troubleshooting sessions. 11. Able to collect, analyze, and react to logs during critical outages, standard operations and or other troubleshooting activities. 12. Research, evaluate, and recommend; hardware, and software solutions such as (but not limited to) servers, storage, remote access systems, and systems management tools. Why work for us?
