Infrastructure Support Engineer - Linux - Windows - No Finance experience is not required for this position, full training will be provided. - Miller Maxwell is assisting a leading high-frequency trading firm where technology and innovation drive success with their search for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer. The infrastructure team is a global team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing trading infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Support Engineer: Support and maintain trading infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Work on key projects within the team - This is a key focus for this position. Manage day-to-day operations, including monitoring and troubleshooting. Collaborate with global teams to manage and optimise company infrastructure. Ensure security and compliance across all systems and platforms. Technical Experience required by the Infrastructure Support Engineer: Linux operating experience - The majority of this role will be Linux-focused. Windows desktop environment experience. Demonstrate scripting skills in one of the following preferably in Python, Bash, Shell or Perl. Virtualisation experience - VMWare Basic networking experience - TCP/IP - DNS An interest in Automation and Platform Monitoring - Nagios - Prometheus - Grafana. Qualifications: Proven experience in infrastructure operations or a similar role. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. The working environment is dynamic, technology-driven and highly innovative. The infrastructure operations engineer must be able to work alone as well as working closely with senior stakeholders and other front-office users.
