One of Millenilink’s clients is hiring a Vulnerability Management Lead for a one-year contract. This can be remote located anywhere in Canada, however the individual must be able to work Pacific time zone (PST) business hours. The successful individual will be leading a cybersecurity program of a large public sector organization helping them understand, assess and remediate their vulnerabilities across IT. The tool the client uses is Tenable as well as PowerBI for reporting, therefore familiarity with both of these tools is required. The Vulnerability Management Lead will be responsible for scanning assets, ingesting vulnerability data, endpoint management, group policies and putting together an actionable vulnerability remediation plan with timelines. They will then lead the client through it on a repetitive monthly basis with the goal of reducing the amount of regular vulnerabilities that are presented. This will almost form a vulnerability management office. In addition to running the remediation efforts the candidate will also be responsible for onboarding new asset groups into the program. This will include: Infrastructure Critical applications Digital services Networking Output Management (printers, etc.) If you or anyone you know are interested and available please reach out to us to discuss this long term contract opportunity. In order to qualify for this opportunity candidate must have: Experience leading a vulnerability management program, preferably with consulting background Experience with Tenable or similar vulnerability management tool Experience with PowerBI for reporting purposes Experience coaching IT asset groups to understand what they have and adopt processes to reduce vulnerabilities (patching etc.) Proven experience scanning and ingesting vulnerability data, endpoint management tools, group policies and putting together an actionable vulnerability plan for different IT groups Strong ability to develop specific 30,60, 90 day plans for team to deal with remediation backlog and drive accountability working through the teams Subject matter expertise to grow a program and onboard various IT teams to the vulnerability management program including infrastructure, critical applications, digital services, networking and output management technology group Proven experience working with contractors, asset owners, producing metrics, working through vulnerabilities, working with teams, capturing plans with patching, burn down rates etc. Strong client management capabilities to achieve strong security posture for an organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills
