The Operational Resilience & Data Governance Manager (Tech) will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the Technology Operational Resilience framework of the business. The Operational Resilience & Data Governance Manager (Tech) will oversee the third-party outsourcing, keeping an eye on business continuity, and being custodian of the organisations data governance and resilience. Our client is looking for someone from a financial services background, who enjoys working with technology, and has a governance focused mindset. Perhaps someone moving from a larger organisation looking for a more boutique environment with more breadth, ownership and responsibility. Responsibilities of the Op Resilience & Data Governance Manager (Tech): - Development, implementation and embedding of the operational resilience framework - Identify vulnerabilities in the Bank’s Op Resilience capabilities via testing - Ensure current vulnerabilities on systems identified (proactive & reactive) - Document and own all processes related to Operational Resilience - Manage the Business Continuity Plan including reviews of Business Impact assessments - Develop the data governance framework and define the data governance map - Oversee the development of the data catalogue and documentation of data assets Background of the of the Op Resilience & Data Governance Manager (Tech): - A strong understanding of the UK reg landscape with respect to Operational Resilience - A solid grounding and genuine interest in technology, with technical curiosity - Financial services experience essential - A grounding and understanding of data governance principles and frameworks - Experience in Operational Resilience frameworks essential - Good understanding of InfoSec/CyberSec risks and thirty party risk - Good knowledge of business continuity concepts Is this job for you?
