Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a AI/ML Engineer. What we are looking for Passion to solve the problems aligned with the MedBoard mission. Strong system design and problem solving skills, we often deal with the “unknown”. Strong technical and personal attitude. Advanced Academic Credentials: in Machine Learning / NLP. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or related field. Proficiency designing and developing AI applications (3 years). Developing and scaling MedBoard's suite of applications as we grow. Robust understanding of NLP challenges and solutions. Proficiency in Python: Advanced knowledge of Python. A strong foundation in Python, or similar AI and Machine Learning programming languages. Working with large language models (LLM), deep learning, statistical modeling and natural language processing. Experience with LLMs and Generative AI: Proficiency in using large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning and quantisation of LLMs. Experience in delivering, growing and maintaining real-world software applications. Experience building applications with great user experiences. Exposure to Microsoft .NET and C#. MS SQL Server, query optimisation. HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio, Bitbucket, Jira, and Jenkins. ElasticSearch. General AWS or similar cloud experience An open mind-set willing to join international environment and interested in joining an intercultural team Teamwork. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels in English Advanced Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities in the area of machine learning and NLP. Hands-on Data Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Proven Project Delivery: A proven track record of successfully delivering NLP/LLM projects in academia or/and industry.
