London Market Insurance – Regulatory Compliance – Systems Architecture – Project Management – Agile/Waterfall – Stakeholder Management - £80k - £100k Benefits – Hybrid – London Our client, a prominent London Market Insurance firm, is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join their growing team. This pivotal role focuses on designing and optimizing our systems architecture to ensure it meets both business objectives and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial role in supporting the integration of new syndicates and ensuring the overall robustness and scalability of our technical infrastructure. As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders, to develop architectural solutions that are aligned with our business goals. Your expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies will be critical in driving the successful delivery of complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Systems Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of resilient and scalable systems architecture that supports business objectives and regulatory compliance. Project Leadership: Oversee the architectural aspects of systems projects, managing them through Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors to ensure that architectural designs are effectively implemented and meet business needs. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions. London Market Insurance Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of the London insurance market to ensure systems adhere to regulatory requirements and facilitate the onboarding of new syndicates. Experience Required: Proven experience in a Solutions Architect or similar role within the London Market Insurance sector, ideally with a Lloyd’s Managing Agent. Strong background in systems architecture design and optimization. Extensive experience in managing and delivering complex projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts.
